Mr. Trehon Cockrell-Coleman The Future from 2010!

Trehon Cockrell-Coleman is a Tennessee State University 2010 Graduate from the College of Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science. Coleman was the recipient of the University’s Distinguished Student Leadership Award. This award was established in 2005 by Tennessee State University 7th President Dr. Melvin N. Johnson, and given to students who exemplified student leadership on both the Main and Downtown campus of the university.

Coleman was recruited in September of 2009 for employment under the terms of a one year agreement with Raytheon Missile Systems Company, in Tucson Arizona. This opportunity was formed after he completed (2) consecutive summer internships with the company. Now from July 12, 2010 till July 12, 2011 Coleman has the opportunity to earn a solid position in the company, and he expressed interest in returning to Nashville in the future to pursue his Master’s Degree at Belmont University.

When asked what are your expectations of the alumni chapter in Arizona, as far as helping you adjust? Coleman replied,

“I wouldn’t say expecting but I will say I’m on the edge of my seat ready to be embraced during my relocation from Nashville to Tucson. I understand there are plenty of alums employed by Raytheon. Most recently Mr. James Alderman Mr. TSU 2009.”

Coleman is a Nashville Native, who has been guilty of positively impacting his community through mentorship, volunteer work, and also creating job opportunities through his personal business endeavors. It’s safe to say the community supports him and the alumni of The Tennessee State University are counting on Coleman to “Go Forth to Serve!”
